Neither Squilla nor Parker, who won the Democratic nomination for mayor, have indicated support or opposition to the project.

Parker, most recently a member of City Council, held a 10 percent margin over her nearest competitor, Rebecca Rhynhart. In the November election, Parker with run against another former councilmember, David Oh.
