The 400 block of Broad Street will be renamed Teddy Pendergrass Way on Saturday, July 26. The R&B singer released five platinum albums for Philadelphia International Records, once located near the block. His widow, Joan, said a biopic is on the way to keep the memory of the singer fresh.
