Yuengling's new mango-flavored Raging Eagle pilsner is 'disrupting the beer scene,' brewer says

Pennsylvania-based Yuengling has debuted Raging Eagle Mango Beer, a 6% ABV pilsner brewed with natural fruit flavor and classic hops. The beer is now available in 24-ounce cans and will be released in other pack configurations later in 2021, as the company prepares to expand to western states.

Nor'easter leaves Pa. woman dead of hypothermia; three others killed in disagreement over snow removal

As a nor'easter sweeps across Pennsylvania, a 67-year-old Allentown woman was found dead in the street from hypothermia on Monday morning, according to the Lehigh County Coroner's Office. In Luzerne County, a husband and wife were shot to death by a neighbor over a disagreement about snow removal, prosecutors say. The shooter was found dead a short time later inside his home in Plains Township.

Bucks County man in viral video of U.S. Capitol riot charged with assaulting police officer

Ryan Samsel, 37, of Bucks County, Pennsylvania, has been charged for his alleged involvement in the U.S. Capitol riot on Jan. 6 in Washington, D.C. Samsel is accused of toppling a police barricade and opening a path for rioters to approach the Capitol, as well as knocking a police officer to the ground. The officer suffered a concussion as a result.

A New Jersey woman filed a discrimination lawsuit against Acme Markets over allegations that her employer failed to provide reasonable accommodations for her to pump breast milk. The woman was fired from an Acme in Ortley Beach, Ocean County, and claims she was verbally harassed by her supervisor.

John Chaney, legendary Temple basketball coach, dies at 89

Former Temple University basketball coach John Chaney, a pillar of the basketball community in Philadelphia and beyond, has died at 89 years old. Chaney is a member of the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame and was a mentor to countless college and NBA standouts.

Philly Fighting COVID CEO Andrei Doroshin urged Health Commissioner Dr. Thomas Farley to step down in the wake of the city's split from its former vaccine partner. Mayor Jim Kenney stood by Farley in a letter on Friday, but said the health department must make changes and produce a report on what led to the ill-fated partnership.

The Penn Pavilion, opening in West Philadelphia in 2021, will feature an art installation from renowned designer and architect Maya Lin, the woman behind the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washingon, D.C. The hospital will include 500 patient rooms once completed.
