Road Side America, dubbed the "greatest miniature village in the world," has permanently shut down the public display that has been a family attraction in Pennsylvania for 85 years. The owners said multiple factors, especially the coronavirus pandemic, resulted in the decision. An auction will be held for various pieces of the display.

Comcast to impose internet data threshold, overage fees in Northeast U.S. in 2021

Comcast will introduce an internet usage threshold of 1.2 terabytes in 14 states and Washington, D.C. starting on Jan. 1. Customers who exceed the limit will be billed an additional $10 for every 50 GB they exceed the threshold. The Philadelphia-based cable giant and internet service provider says only 5% of its customers will be affected.

Pennsylvania restaurants and bars will be prohibited from selling beer, wine and liquor on premises on Thanksgiving eve, which is typically the busiest drinking night of the year. Gov. Tom Wolf and Health Secretary Dr. Rachel Levine announced the decision along a slew of new COVID-19 restrictions on Monday, Nov. 23.

The Grey Lodge Pub will close for good as a result of the impact of the coronavirus pandemic. The owners of one of the original craft beer bars in Philly, located in the Mayfair neighborhood of Northeast Philadelphia, said Thursday that the bar will close permanently as result of the economic impact of COVID-19, which has ravaged restaurants across the city. Three former Philly revenue department employees charged in alleged bribery scheme

Three former employees of Philadelphia's Revenue Department were charged Thursday with accepting thousands of dollars in bribes facilitated through their jobs. Jarredd McQueen, Demarys Natal and Nicole Mixon allegedly deleted debts owed to the city in exchange for payments from taxpayers.
