The Philadelphia Eagles announced on Tuesday that their preseason opponents for the 2019 NFL season are set. Times and dates are not yet known, but the opponents and the order in which they play them are.

To be determined if the Eagles view Perez as a legitimate No. 3 quarterback worth developing, or if they see him as a camp arm. Plucking a quarterback from the AAF instead of using a draft pick on one makes sense, but I'm not certain it closes the door completely on the team drafting one in the later rounds later this month.

A week ago when the Philadelphia Eagles traded a ham sandwich for former Chicago Bears running back Jordan Howard, they immediately improved what was (generously) a bottom five group of NFL running backs. However, the Eagles should be far from done in addressing the running back position, as they still need a reliable player who can catch the ball out of the backfield.
