Bensalem police investigating massive brawl at Golden Corral
A giant brawl was caught on video at the Golden Corral Buffet & Grill in Bensalem, Bucks County on Friday. Police believe more than 40 people were involved in the fight, which drove patrons to flee the restaurant as people threw chairs and tables in the dining room.January 31, 2022

Missing N.J. man found dead after three-day search, police say
Jonathan Morris, 23, was found dead Monday night after he went missing from his Bridgeton, New Jersey home on Jan. 28. Morris was last seen in a Snapchat post and had been out driving his mother's BMW after finishing work on Thursday night. A bloody jacket was later found in neighboring Hopewell Township and the car was located abandoned and running in a nearby area on Water Street. An investigation remains ongoing.January 31, 2022

Mystery Pennsylvania canine breaks free from cage, escapes from rescue shelter
The mystery canine in Pennsylvania, maybe a dog, a coyote or both, escaped the animal rescue facility where he was receiving care as the staff awaited the results of DNA testing to determine his identity. The animal had caused a surge of online interest and speculation after Wildlife Works. shared photos of him earlier in January, when a woman found him in the cold and brought him in to receive veterinary attention.January 28, 2022

'Horrified' airline vows to stop shipping lab monkeys, like those involved in Pennsylvania truck crash
Kenya Airways will soon stop transporting wild animals, include lab monkeys for experimental research, after a truck accident in Pennsylvania last week resulted in a safety hazard during the shipment of 100 long-tailed macaques. Several of the monkeys escaped near Danville and we later euthanized before the rest were taken to a quarantine site. The monkeys are commonly used for infectious disease research and demand for them has spiked during the coronavirus pandemic to aid vaccine development.January 28, 2022

Walgreens will close its flagship store in Philadelphia at the end of February. The drugstore at the corner of Broad and Chestnut streets opened in 2013, replacing a former Borders bookstore. South Philly traffic roundabout planned to improve road safety at busy intersection
Philadelphia has plans to build a new traffic roundabout at the busy South Philly intersection of 20th Street, Penrose, Moyamensing and Packer Avenues. Construction on the project is expected to begin as soon as the summer of 2022 and could take a few years to complete. Bald eagle crashes into Lehigh Valley home, shattering front window
A bald eagle slammed into and crashed the front window of a home in Whitehall Township on Tuesday, becoming the latest unusual incident involving an animal in Pennsylvania. Between a truck full of lab monkeys crashing in Danville and a mystery canine being rescued in Westmoreland County, the latest incident in the Lehigh Valley continues the odd trend. The eagle left the scene of the incident under its own power and likely was drawn to the window by a reflection or a light.January 27, 2022

After bonfire incident, GoFundMe campaign supports Mount Laurel boy who suffered burns to 90% of his body
Ryan Jastrzembski, an 11-year-old Mount Laurel boy, suffered severe burns after he caught fire in an incident involving a backyard bonfire on Monday evening. The boy poured gasoline on the bonfire, causing the gas can to explode as his body was covered in flames, police said.
