John Burkhart, the former officer in charge of the Lancaster County Drug Task Force, faces multiple criminal charges connected to the alleged theft of approximately $200,000 in seized money, according to the Pennsylvania Attorney General's Office. Burkhart, a retired Lancaster City police officer, allegedly stole funds that were seized during drug investigations and held as evidence pending prosecution and legal forfeiture.March 15, 2022

Man fatally shot outside Wendy's restaurant in Abington
A 30-year-old man was fatally shot outside a Wendy's fast-food restaurant in the Huntingdon Valley section of Abington Township on Monday, March 7.
