Report: Eagles to sign DT Haloti Ngata

The Eagles needed defensive tackle depth with the likely (now almost certain) loss of Beau Allen in free agency. At 6'4, 340 pounds, Ngata should fill Allen's role as a run-stuffing defensive tackle in the middle of the Eagles' defense.

Report: Eagles to lose TE Trey Burton to the Bears

Trey Burton was a very useful player for the Eagles, serving as a core special teamer, and something of a jack-of-all-trades within the regular offense. In the two games starting tight end Zach Ertz missed this season due to injury (Broncos and Rams), Burton showed up in a big way, catching 7 passes for 112 yards and 3 TDs.

Killing time: Should the Eagles pursue DT Ndamukong Suh?

Suh is arguably the most dominant defensive player to come out of college into the NFL in the last decade. While he has had a good NFL career, Suh has unquestionably been something of a disappointment based on his limitless potential. Still, he is a force in the middle of the defense and a player who commands added attention of opposing offensive lines every week.

A look at the history of the 32nd overall pick

I write this post every year, and it really doesn't mean anything, but it feels like something to do, so you'll read it and like it. Anyway, I took a look at the 32nd overall pick – the Philadelphia Eagles' pick currently in the 2018 NFL Draft – over the last 25 years, and found that it's a shockingly bad group.
