Narberth borough in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania has passed an ordinance that would impose fines on people who do not wear face masks in designated locations during the COVID-19 pandemic. Sipple donated a kidney to Francis three years ago. The two were strangers but have become best friends ever since.

Scientists at the Carnegie Museum of Natural History in western Pennsylvania recently observed a rare half-male, half-female bird — a rose-breasted grosbeak — at the Powermill Nature Reserve in Rector. Known as bilateral gynandromorphs, these birds genetically have male characteristics on one side and female characters on the other side.
