Philadelphia Police Commissioner Danielle Outlaw lamented the fatal shooting of 7-year-old Zamar Jones in West Philadelphia on Aug. 1, 2020. Police have arrested 27-year-old Christopher Linder and continue to search for two others allegedly involved in the shooting. Jones was pronounced dead late Monday afternoon.

As Tropical Storm Isaias makes landfall in the Carolinas, a live stream from the Frying Pan Ocean Cam, located off the Outer Banks, shows storm conditions. The Eastern Seaboard of the United States is expected to see significant rainfall, flooding and damage from Isaias from late Monday into Tuesday. Several cameras positioned at the Jersey Shore also show live footage from the coast.
