The Philadelphia Eagles' 40-22 win over the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX had an average of 126 million viewers, setting a record for any TV broadcast. The game also setting a streaming record with 14.5 million viewers who tuned in using Tubi, NFL+ and other NFL-owned streaming services.

Pilot unharmed after small plane crashes in Bucks County

A small plane that took off from Doylestown Airport on Monday morning crashed in a nearby vacant lot in Buckingham Township, authorities said. The pilot was the only person on board and was not injured in the crash. An investigation is being led by the Federal Aviation Administration.

Delco man allegedly started fight and stabbed man during celebration of Eagles' Super Bowl win

Jeffrey Zimmerman, 37, of the Holmes section of Ridley Park, allegedly stabbed a man in the head on Sunday night after starting a fight with a group of people celebrating the Eagles' Super Bowl LIX victory in Prospect Park. Zimmerman is charged with aggravated assault, terroristic threats and related offenses.

Temple student charged with fatally shooting another student in North Philly, police say

A 20-year-old Temple University student was fatally shot near the school's main campus on Thursday night, police say. A 23-year-old man, also a Temple student, was taken into custody at the scene. Two guns and drugs were recovered, police said. Temple President John Fry said he's 'heartbroken' by the 'senseless' loss of life.

Man found dead in Schuylkill River near Kelly Drive on Friday morning

A man's body was recovered from the Schuylkill River in East Falls on Friday morning, Philadelphia police said. Authorities were called to the river near Kelly Drive and Midvale Avenue around 10:20 a.m. to investigate. The man has not been identified and police have not determined how he ended up in the river.
