Pennsylvania State Police are searching for a driver who punched a crossing guard at a bus stop in Fredericksburg on Tuesday. The incident was caught on video and showed the driver first accelerate into the guard, who was blocking the vehicle after the driver failed to obey a stop sign. The driver then got out of his car and knocked the guard to the ground.

Amy's Pastellilos will open a takeout-only shop in Fishtown serving fried Puerto Rican turnovers, rice bowls, nachos and other snack foods. Amy Rivera Nassar began the business as a pop-up in 2018. Pastelillos are fried, crescent-shaped turnovers made with a thin dough and stuffed with meat, cheese, potato or other fillings.

A new master plan for the Sports Complex in South Philadelphia calls for a 5,500-seat concert venue, new restaurants and retail, and a 250-room hotel, Comcast Spectacor announced. The first phase of the proposed development could be completed as soon as 2028. A second phase calls for a residential community with new apartments, offices and green space.

NBA G League player Terry Roberts, of the Long Island Nets, was seriously injured in a shooting in the Olney neighborhood of Philadelphia on Sunday morning. The 23-year-old was shot once in the chest outside the 5th Street Lounge on the 5900 block of North 5th Street, police said. He's expected to make a full recovery, according to the team. An investigation is ongoing.
