Video shows man wanted for Tuesday's fatal shooting on SEPTA bus in South Philly, police say
Police released surveillance video from Tuesday's fatal shooting on a SEPTA bus near Broad Street and Snyder Avenue in South Philadelphia. It shows the suspect shooting Carmelo Drayton, 37, after a dispute on the Route 79 bus. It was one of four shootings involving SEPTa buses this week, but investigators say it wasn't connected to the others. The suspect fled on the Broad Street Line, police say.March 8, 2024

8 teens injured in shooting at SEPTA bus stop in Northeast Philly
At least eight teenagers, all students at Northeast High School, were injured Wednesday when a group of gunmen fired more than 30 shots at a SEPTA bus stop in Burholme, police said. The shooting happened around 3 p.m. at the intersection of Rising Sun and Cottman avenues. Police released surveillance video on Wednesday night and are searching for multiple suspects.
