Jonathan Tunnell, 40, of Philadelphia, is charged with murder in the fatal shooting of Henry Palmen, 35, at the Fairfield Inn in King of Prussia on Monday, June 14, 2021. Investigators say the shooting stemmed from a drug deal gone bad and that Tunnell had been wanted for parole violations prior to the incident.

The cat who originally inspired Philadelphia's #RaiseTheCat sensation around the Sixers in 2017 will watch her final game Wednesday night as Philadelphia hosts the Atlanta Hawks in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals. Owner Dennis Grove said Izzy has been battling cancer and will leave behind a legacy of uniting Sixers fans.

Jacob Dean Robotin, 25, of Willow Grove, was charged with possessing a fire bomb, also known as a Molotov cocktail, during a vandalism spree targeting federal buildings in Philadelphia last New Year's Eve. The Federal Detention Center and Robert C. Nix Federal Building both were damaged that night and Philadelphia police arrested at least seven people, including Robotin.

A pilot died Tuesday morning in a small plane crashed into a wooded area of Doylestown, about two miles away from the airport in Bucks County. The pilot was the only person aboard the single-engine Vans RV-6A. An investigation is being handled by the FAA and the NTSB.

Atlantic County prosecutors are searching for Frankie Lane, 59, of Philadelphia, who has been charged with homicide and weapons offenses in the fatal stabbing of his girlfriend at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino on June 11, 2021. Sharon Whaley, 57, was found dead inside her Atlantic City hotel room with multiple stab wounds.

Sport fishermen in the water near Seaside Heights, New Jersey, caught and released a juvenile great white shark on June 13, 2021. A video of the catch posted on Facebook shows the 7-foot-long shark beside the Reel Innovation Sportfishing boat.

Delaware County Council plans to use eminent domain to acquire the 213-acre former Don Guanella School property in Marple Township owned by the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. Officials want to preserve the open space, creating Delaware County's largest public park. Four separate development proposals for the site were rejected by the township and residents.

He spoke in the wake of a deadly shooting in Port Richmond on Saturday night, when 21-year-old dirt bike rider Angel Rodriguez was shot multiple times during a large gathering of dirt bikes and motorcycles.
