Woman on Wildwood beach hit by police truck driving on the sand
Authorities in Wildwood are investigating a crash involving a police pickup truck that struck a woman lying on the Rio Grande Beach on Wednesday afternoon. Emergency responders took the injured woman to a local hospital. Her boyfriend said she suffered multiple broken ribs, three fractured vertebrae and a lung injury.August 30, 2024

Danilo Cavalcante pleads guilty to charges stemming from last year's prison escape in Chester County
Convicted killer Danilo Cavalcante, the inmate who escaped from Chester County Prison last year and led authorities on a 13-day manhunt, pleaded guilty Friday to charges of escape, burglary, trespassing and related crimes. He was sentenced Friday to 15 to 30 years in prison on top of the life sentence he's serving for fatally stabbing his ex-girlfriend in 2021.August 29, 2024

Police arrest man who opened fire and hit innocent bystander at a Bucks County gentlemen's club
A Trenton man opened fire during an argument at the Border Gentlemen's Club in Morrisville on Thursday morning, police said. The innocent bystander who was injured was struck in the head, thigh and under both armpits. Pedro Rodriguez, 27, was arrested Thursday afternoon. Police search for man caught on video stomping car windshield in Center City
Philadelphia police are searching for a man who vandalized multiple cars Tuesday afternoon on the 900 and 1000 blocks of Spruce Street in Washington Square West. Frozen remains found 47 years ago on the Appalachian Trail are identified as Montgomery County man
The remains of a man found frozen in a cave on the Appalachian Trail in Berks County nearly five decades ago have been identified as Nicholas Paul Grubbs, a 27-year-old from Fort Washington who died from a drug overdose. Grubbs' body was found by a pair of hikers near the Pinnacle, a popular vista in Albany Township.
